Remi Pulverail returned to my virtual studio the other day to share some of his knowledge about Moroccan rose and mint: two important perfumery ingredients produced by the country. Needless to say, the recent earthquake which devastated that part of the world featured heavily in our discussion, as did the overall importance of agriculture to the region’s culture and economy. Of course, we also smelt some wonderful raw materials, including an extraordinary cedar-moss. Here’s a link to the broadcast: perfume Masterclass – ingredients – Moroccan rose and mint.
