Yes, it’s an interesting one. It feels quite non-Chanel in many ways, but it’s been one of their most successful releases.

Do visit it if you can. It’s extraordinary.

Relatively new to being a perfume “otaku” even though I spent the 20 or so years before this with that Hugo Boss worn by every guy, but just tried this at a Chanel boutique after picking up a bottle of Le Lion (pretty sure the lady thought me being a guy, this would be something right up my alley and asked me to give it a sniff). So uninspired and generic, she looked embarrassed when I just softly creased my forehead and smiled after doing so.

I’m very fond of Encre Noir as well.
