Numbers aren’t everything. But they’re not to be sneezed at either. So I was truly delighted the other day when my YouTube app showed me that I’d gone over the 20,000 subscriber mark. Of course, I had to mark the occasion in some way and create an opportunity to thank all of you for your support, and I decided the best way to do this would be to broadcast another Ask Me Anything video. I didn’t quite expect the range of topics to be so varied – everything from journalistic integrity to the colour of the walls behind me – but that’s what made the whole thing such great fun. Plus, I delved into my stash of vintage minis and brought some of them into the studio for a rare screen outing: near-forgotten releases including Fendi Asja, Guy Laroche Horizon and Balenciaga Talisman. Here’s a link to the video: 20,000 Subscribers On YouTube – Ask Me Anything. And as I said during the broadcast, there is absolutely no way I can thank you enough for helping me reach this milestone. Your generosity, encouragement and good humour are so very, very valuable to me.

  1. Congratulations on the 20,000 mark Persoliase.
    Question.
Do you, or would you ever own a bottle of Hermes Bel Ami Vetiver?

    1. Thank you very, very much. Yes… I’m pretty sure I have a bottle of that. However, from those reworked scents, I think I prefer Equipage Geranium.
