I am typing these words moments before attempting to roll a meringue. Will it break? Will it turn into a gooey mess? Will my life be worth living if the whole thing turns into an inedible disaster? All these questions and more will no doubt be answered over the course of the next few days as we consume enough calories to meet the energy needs of one of the smaller Canary Islands. If you too are celebrating Christmas, I wish you a fun-filled feast, bursting at the seams with merriment and jollity. And to all of you: wishes of gorgeously-scented peace.
