I’m always slightly suspicious of the self-indulgent aspects of nostalgia, but I decided to revel in the feeling when broadcasting the rundown of my top 10 perfumes for winter 2024. And I’m glad I did, because I think the scents I presented in the list represent the astonishing power that perfume can have to evoke a very specific time, even, strangely enough, one that we may never have experienced first-hand. Here’s a link to the video, followed by a timestamps for all the scents I covered: Top 10 perfumes for winter 2024.
Reminiscence Patchouli (Henri Sozio) 5:41
Chanel No. 18 (Jacques Polge) 12:42
Etat Libre D’Orange The Afternoon Of A Faun (Ralf Schwieger) 18:38

Tom Ford Beau De Jour (Antoine Maisondieu) 29:36
