Carnality, vision, emotion. Those were the words and ideas that came up frequently the other day when I interviewed Francesca Bianchi, the Italy-born, Amsterdam-based perfumer at her own, self-named brand. Although she founded the company a mere five years ago, Bianchi has already developed a loyal following. And this was certainly in evidence during the interview, with people from across the globe – all the way from the west coast of the USA to Singapore – tuning in to tell her how much they enjoy her work.
