Finally somebody agrees to my opinion of Alaia: extremely overhyped, I've rarely worn something more yawn inducing. I wouldn't even go as far as to liken it to Bottega Venetta, which, while no masterpiece, has a way better defined personality, it is more distinctive. I find Alaia totally nondescript.

I'm not crazy about Alaia, but then I wasn't offended by it either. It's safe in the extreme.
