Those of you who celebrate Christmas: I hope that all your presents are safely under the tree, that your kitchen is full of fiendishly calorific things to eat (save me a slice of panettone) and that you’ve made plans to spend some time over the festive season with your favourite people and/or books and/or movies. Every single one of you: may the end of the year bring you laughter, kindness and some opportunities for peaceful self-reflection. I shall return on the 30th of December (time to be confirmed on social media; it’ll probably be 1600 UK) with my rundown of the best perfumes of 2022. Until then, be good… but not too good. And enjoy the feasting.
