Just a few bits and bobs of info for the weekend. First of all, I’m very pleased to announce that the editors of the new Penhaligon’s blog have selected yours truly as their first guest writer. Click on this link to be taken to my quirky little Mother’s Day piece. If you enjoy it, please consider leaving a comment beneath it.

I’m also fairly confident that in the middle of next week (probably on Wednesday make that Thursday) I’ll be able to reveal the identity of the person I’ll soon be interviewing for Basenotes. I realise I’ve been teasing you mercilessly for quite some time about this, but I promise that you don’t have to wait much longer for the secrecy to end. And I’d be really grateful for your help in coming up with some challenging, probing questions.

As far as give-aways are concerned, I can now confirm that in the very near future, I’ll be able to hold draws for samples of Amouage’s new Opus V and MDCI’s La Belle Hélène… but I’ll leave you today with another teaser:

Be sure to come back on Monday for a truly stellar give-away draw for a full bottle of something rather special!

Persolaise.

  1. Good writing!! 🙂 I do not have a fave fictional mom, and my real life mom is not into scent. Soooo, maybe a crisp citrus for auntie Xena, Warrior Princess…!!

  2. Liam, you're right, there do seem to be quite a few things happening. I just hope I manage to find time to make progress with my own perfumes.

  3. Oh, this is nice to see that Penhaligon's blog is going to invite some great writers! Thanks for heads up, I'll be checking it out.

And thanks for the teasers — I'll sure be back for all of them.

I love hearing from my readers, so please feel free to write a comment or ask a question.
