The arrival of a perfume from Les Indemodables is always a cause for excitement, and their new Immortelle Solaire does not disappoint. I reviewed it in a recent episode of Love At First Scent, together with releases from Miller Harris and Valentino. Here’s a link to the video: Miller Harris Melody, Valentino Sogno In Rosso, Valentino L’Innocence De L’Air, Valentino Private Talk, Les Indemodables Immortelle Solaire, Iconofly Personne reviews.

Thank goodness for Les Indemodables. With Remi and Valerie Pulverail at the helm, and Antoine Lie as their perfumer, they’re consistently releasing some of the most honest, magnetic and downright gorgeous perfumes around today. Immortelle Solaire easily ranks as one of their best. It showcases all of its central material’s assertiveness — in other words, the spiciness, the liquorice facet, the honeyed heaviness — while rendering it approachable and luminous. Somewhere between an old-school fougere (more than once, it reminded me of YSL Rive Gauche Pour Homme) and a modern spice composition heated up by a poolside Provencal locale, it demands to be tried. Seek it out without delay.
