I suppose the clue was in the numbers. The three scents I’ve tried so far from the Bon Parfumeur range – 101 (Alexandra Monet), 602 (Nathalie Koobus) and 702 (Juliette Karagueuzoglou) – are notable for how slavishly they veer away from any originality, almost as though they’re determined to come across as schematic and derivative. And no, before you ask, I’m in no hurry to tick any of the remaining numbers off my ‘must try’ list.
