An uplifting Mediterranean breeze blew into the Persolaise studio the other day with the arrival of Paola Paganini, Product Development & Innovation Manager at Acqua Di Parma. The main focus of the interview was the launch of the new Spugnatura limited edition of Bergamotto Di Calabria, but we also talked about the recent Colonia Futura as well as Paganini’s wider thoughts on the current state of the industry and whether a certain AdP release contains real ambergris. Here’s a link to the broadcast: Acqua Di Parma Paola Paganini interview. By the way, in case you’re wondering, I hope to post a review of Bergamotto Di Calabria La Spugnatura soon, but for now I’ll say that it receives a delighted thumbs up from me. Seek it out if you can.

Below you’ll find some images of the bergamot oil extraction and bottle-creation process discussed in the interview.
