Frederic Malle Cologne Indelebile review, perfume critic Persolaise, 2019, 2015

It’s time to head back into the Persolaise archive again, to a post unwittingly chosen by a reader when they very recently left a comment on it: my review of Frederic Malle Cologne Indelebile, the Dominique Ropion composition from 2015. I figured that if someone was moved to respond to a review that’s more than four years old, maybe the fates are telling me that I ought to shine a spotlight on it for a while. Anyway, here it is, at this link.

My admiration of the scent is unabated, although I haven’t worn it for a long time, as I’m trying to save the last few drops I have left. As is the case with several Malle releases, I also enjoy the shower gel format, even though I can never use it without thinking of the time about half a bottle of the stuff leaked in my suitcase, at the end of a summer holiday. Needless to say, my luggage smelt superb for months afterwards… which allows me to proclaim with confidence that even as a shower gel, Indelebile lives up to its name.
