Sustainability may be an overused term in the perfume world, but Sebastian Tissot makes no apology for repeating it several times: the concept is at the core of Nissaba, the brand he founded a few years ago, after a long stint in the sourcing division of Firmenich. He came into my studio the other day to explain why he’s placed at the s-word at the heart of his work, how he goes about briefing his perfumers… and whether his next release might carry a whiff of Toblerone. Here’s a link to the interview: Sebastien Tissot, Nissaba, live interview.
