  1. Hello from Paris but I was born in the UK almost 70 years ago!
I love fragrance – I am enjoying your Masterclass series (I’m accompanying it by reading about the ingredients in Jean-Claude Ellena’s “Atlas de Botanique Parfumée”) and wondered ….
I’m very classic about perfume choices, I stay with my favourites because I’m rarely disappointed – Calèche or Jardin sur la Lagune or Sublime Balkiss for example. I would like to branch out and try Annick Goutal and / or Frédéric Malle BUT where to start?
Perfume has become a luxury today so I don’t want to buy a perfume and have to throw it away …yes, I know I need to try and then await the final notes but any ideas for me to start from?
    Best wishes,
    Barbara Grasset.

    1. Thanks very much for reading.

Yes, it is difficult to know where to start. I would say you ought to find a brand that offers a good sample set, like Les Indemodables or Akro, for instance.

I love hearing from my readers, so please feel free to write a comment or ask a question.
