A brief, utilitarian post today. I just thought I’d come up for air to let you know that the Invasion Of The Day Job is being battled as well as can be expected. I’ve got plenty of perfume samples to keep me company, many of which will become the subjects of future reviews.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the two guest posts I’ve published so far. (Here’s a handy link, and another, if you haven’t yet read them.) The next one’s scheduled to pop up on Tuesday; its author is a well-established, UK based perfume retailer.

Please don’t forget that you’ve still got a few days left to enter the draw for a sample of Angela Flanders’ delightful Lily Of The Valley. And finally, please click on this link to be taken to my Basenotes article on Dior’s in-house perfumer, François Demachy. I met him at the official opening of the house’s new perfume hall at Selfridge’s… and he had a few interesting things to say on the subject of regulations and Thierry Wasser’s attempts to ‘preserve’ certain Guerlain classics.

Right, time to get back into my suit of armour…

Persolaise.
