Thank goodness! All potential obstacles kept themselves hidden yesterday, so I was able to go ahead with my Love At First Scent broadcast, in which I presented a very personal list of my Top 10 Perfumes. As per usual, you can watch it above, but I’d urge you to see it over on YouTube (click here) so that you can read the ‘live chat’ as it happened.

For those who want to cut straight to the chase, here’s the complete list. But if you’d like to understand how it was put together, I’m afraid you’ll have to surrender yourselves to the video.

Guerlain Habit Rouge (at the start of the video)
Chanel Antaeus (at the 16:30 minute mark)
Dior Homme (2005; at the 24:00 minute mark)
Etat Libre D’Orange Tom Of Finland (at the 28:45 minute mark)
Amouage Gold Man (at the 34:45 minute mark)
Guerlain Apres L’Ondee (at the 39:30 minute mark)
Montale Aoud Cuir D’Arabie (at the 45:00 minute mark)
Chanel Cuir De Russie edt (at the 47:45 minute mark)
Swiss Arabian Mukhalat Malaki (at the 52:30 minute mark)
Tauer Lonestar Memories (at the 56:15 minute mark)

I have a feeling I’ll have to do a ‘Madame Persolaise’ version of this video very soon. Watch this space…

Persolaise

      1. Thanks… btw this is Joe – that blind bought Falkar… this is my blog… Happy to have found yours on here!

  1. Well I clearly haven’t been reading carefully enough, as I would have only guessed one of those. Must do better. Look forward to Madame’s version.

  2. I sprayed on some Gold last night and watched Duncan wrinkle his nose. Everyone I have ever exposed it to finds it revolting, but there is something incredible about it for me, like vintage Madame Rochas on Cloud Nine above the Taj Majal. GORGEOUS.

I love hearing from my readers, so please feel free to write a comment or ask a question.
