The remains of the old bathroom!

It’s almost too hard to believe, but we really have got a brand new, fully functioning bathroom at Maison Persolaise. All hail the Flushing Fairy!

Whilst Madame P enjoys a bubbly soak this evening, I’ll be en route to Les Senteurs to meet Andrea Maack, the Icelandic artist who’s in London at the moment to promote her three perfumes, Smart, Sharp and Craft. If all goes according to plan, my write-up of the event should appear on Basenotes before too long.

Finally, I’ll just mention that, yet again, I find myself unimpressed by Disqus. I’m aware of at least two comments which have somehow been filed under the old, Blogger system, with the result that they’re not currently appearing on this blog, because Disqus hasn’t registered them. It’s all a bit odd. I’m going to stick to my original plan and refrain from pulling the plug on the new system until at least a few more days have passed… but so far, I can’t say I’m inclined to keep it.

Persolaise.
