After a year in which we handed over the hosting reins to others, we’re back in the kitchen again, sharpening the knives, softening the butter and firing up the ovens. I’ve stepped away from the madness for a moment to wish those of you who celebrate Christmas all the very best for the festive season: merriment, thoughtful presents and comfortable idleness.
