I don’t like to think about the fact that today is the longest day of the year, because it means that from now on, the days are going to start getting shorter and shorter. But at least the official arrival of the warmer months is an opportunity to present one of my favourite lists: Top 10 best perfumes for the summer. As ever, the rundown was bound together by a loose theme. Inspired by a conversation I recently had with a friend about an apparent absence of sincerity in modern pop music, I decided that this year, I’d try to present fragrances which, for one reason or another, strike me as possessing a sense of integrity or some kind of innate honesty.
