Don’t talk to me about shopping! Things are so manic at Maison Persolaise at the moment that I haven’t yet managed to tick any of the Christmas jobs off the list, apart from the cake, which was baked a couple of weeks ago (I added some Earl Grey and Lapsang leaves to the mix this time) and is now happily ageing away. But everything else – the cards, the gifts, the plans – is still firmly on the To Be Done list.
