There’s a new Guerlain pop-up store in London. And on Wednesday 24th November 2021, it hosted a very special someone: none other than the brand’s chief perfumer, Monsieur Thierry Wasser. He agreed to be interviewed by yours truly for my YouTube channel, and I’m pleased to announce that our chat has now been uploaded and is ready for viewing. Although my time with Wasser was limited, we managed to squeeze quite a few topics into our conversation, including his working relationship with Delphine Jelk (Guerlain’s other perfumer), the latest problems around reformulation and whether we’re likely to see the return of the extrait of Nahema. Here’s a link to the video: Guerlain perfumer Thierry Wasser interview.
Please click on this link for an interview with Wasser from several years ago in which he talked about Nahema. And below you’ll find some images taken by me of the Covent Garden pop-up.
