Say your prayers: something wicked is coming your way. A recent episode of my Love At First Scent series featured a review of the brand new Bulgari Le Gemme Azaran, a spicy leather composed by Jacques Cavallier. If you’d like to watch it, please click on this link: Bulgari Le Gemme Azaran review.
A little while ago, Cavallier explored similar territory in the superb Le Gemme Falkar, and some would no doubt claim that Azaran is not sufficiently different from that release in order to justify its existence. However, there is no doubt that the two part company when it comes to sweetness/dryness and their use of florals. Azaran is markedly heavier, darker and less breezy, using the saffron note at its heart to present a leather that is more jagged and dangerous than its predecessor’s. One of the best entries in the Gemme range.
