Tauer Perfumes Une Rose Vermeille review, Persolaise archive

For my next foray into the Persolaise archive, I’m reaching as far as back September 2010, when I first posted my review of Andy Tauer’s Une Rose Vermeille. I remember being very taken with it, but I haven’t smelt it for a long time. Perhaps I ought to re-sniff any scents I use for these ‘archive’ posts. Or maybe that would be a foolish idea. Maybe I ought to let the original sentiments remain intact and unaltered. Something for me to ponder.

I see from the Tauer website that Vermeille is still listed as part of the current range, but as I type these words, it’s out of stock. Is it on its way out, or is its absence merely temporary? For some reason, this question fills me with a compulsion to dig out my sample and revisit the scent. An attempt to bring back to life something that may be gone forever…?

But enough of this navel-gazing. Here’s a link to my original review: Tauer Une Rose Vermeille. If you’ve ever experienced the scent, I’d love to know what you think of it.

Happy reading,

Persolaise

  1. I was just looking around Luckyscent and saw that they listed it under their discontinued page. I also heard that Andy put this one on the back burner for now. I am happy that I ordered a backup bottle but if I come into some cash in the next couple months, another back up is in order. I wasn’t too happy when Noontide Petals was discontinued.

I love hearing from my readers, so please feel free to write a comment or ask a question.
