Thanks to all of you who entered last week’s draw. I can now reveal that the destination for my pre-yuletide getaway with Madame Persolaise is

Quite a predictable choice, I know, but never mind: I shall enjoy every second of it… as long as we actually get to go! Apparently, the UK’s going to be attacked by more snow storms at the end of the week, which may disrupt our travel plans.

If it isn’t volcanoes, it’s snowflakes…

Anyway, before I get completely side-tracked and slip into a reverie about the hours I’d love to spend at Guerlain and Lutens, let me proceed to the real business of the day: choosing a winner. I’m pleased to announce that Random.org has decided that the recipient of a sample of Fougère Royale is

Anna in Edinburgh

Congratulations, Anna. Please send your postal address to persolaise at gmail dot com and I’ll get the sample to you asap.

Those of you who’ve read the previous post will know that I’ve already got my hands on the prize for the next draw, which I hope to hold in the first week of the new year. I hope you’ll all come back to try your luck again.

Persolaise.

  1. Jealous, jealous, jealous… of you for going to Paris and of Anna for winning… but in a kind way 😉 So, my congratulations to Anna and wish you and madame Persolaise a very good time in Paris. Hope to read it back on your blog.

BTW, have you already seen the OsmoZ (Firmenich) guide to Paris? http://shop.osmoz.com/shopexd.asp?catalogid=224 (I hope you don't see it as a spam – not meant to be 🙂

  2. swoon, thud! – this'll be the stuff to make my Other Half a happy chappie.

    Many thanks, and travel safely,

    cheerio, Anna in Edinburgh

  3. Paris, wonderful! I've never been, myself, but have often thought it would be nice. Sadly, I don't think my husband would appreciate all the time I would want to focus on perfume, but you and Madame P. are lucky in that respect! I am sure you will have a great time.

  4. AromaX, thanks very much indeed. I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to it.

I was aware of the OsmoZ guide, but I haven't had time to buy. Maybe next time…

  5. Carrie, I'm sure your Bogart moment will come… and yes, I'm very lucky as far as Madame P's tolerance is concerned, but even she can't understand how I can spend well over an hour at a single perfumery.

I love hearing from my readers, so please feel free to write a comment or ask a question.
