Last year, after I posted my Top 10 film list over on my other blog, many of you took the time to get in touch and let me know how much you appreciated being made aware of my non-perfume-related writing. So here’s a link to this year’s list of my favourite movies – Top 10 best films of 2022 on DariushAlavi.com – to which I will just add that if you see only one of the ten, please make it Aftersun. A haunting, slow-burning, subtle piece of work, so refreshingly devoid of anger and cynicism. I still haven’t quite recovered from seeing it.
