Anything to hold on to the scraps of the remains of the vestiges of summer! In a recent episode of Love At First Scent, I covered the citrus-grove-smile of a scent that is Histoires De Parfums This Is Not A Blue Bottle 1.6, a recent addition to the brand’s consistently strong portfolio. I found this stuff utterly irresistible from the very first sniff. As I say in the video, it somehow manages to convey the most energising and life-affirming aspects of citrus oils without sending them into the somewhat more dementedly treadmill-obsessed territories occupied by the likes of lemon and grapefruit. In short, it has a definite spring in its step, but it also delights in a happy, clock-banishing slowness. Such a joy to wear.
