Who knew there were so many ideal men to be found? In one perfume house! And this latest one isn’t just ideal: he’s extremely ideal. As opposed to the intensely ideal one we had a little while ago. I would so love it if Guerlain’s next flanker in this range was L’Homme Ideal Maybe One Day. Or L’Homme Ideal But I Don’t Like To Brag. Or L’Homme Ideal Because Mummy Always Told Me I Am. But anyway, facetiousness aside, the latest episode of Love At First Scent features the 2020 addition to Thierry Wasser’s collection of paragons: Guerlain L’Homme Ideal Extreme. And really — I mustn’t let facetiousness get the better of me because, as I say in the video, as far as recent-ish masculine releases from large brands are concerned, the L’Homme Ideal collection is streets ahead of the competition. So perhaps it really does deserve its name…
