Dior Homme parfum review by award-winning critic Persolaise, Francois Demachy, 2014, flanker

The other day, I was having an online chat with someone about Dior Homme, and I realised that I haven’t yet had a chance (can’t think why!) to try the version that the brand is currently selling as the ‘original’. I see that they’ve also re-packaged the ‘intense’ version, but I’m told that this is the same as the formulation we’ve always called Dior Homme Intense. And it would appear that the ‘parfum’ is still around too. So – in order to keep the Homme conversation going – here’s another trip into the Persolaise archive: my 2014 review of the parfum. To read it, please click on this link: Dior Homme parfum review.

Dare I ask what your own thoughts are on the current state of Homme…?

  1. Reading the old review and I chuckled upon reading this sentence: “It still contains the iris note from the edt – it could hardly have called itself Dior Homme if it had dispensed with that.” Oh such irony now!

I love hearing from my readers, so please feel free to write a comment or ask a question.
