How do you mark the 100th anniversary of the release of one of the most important perfumes of all time? If you’re at Guerlain, then the answer would appear to be the somewhat predictable: put out a limited edition flanker. There’s nothing intrinsically wrong with that. Goodness know, countless other brands have marked key occasions in a similar way. What matters is how you do the flanking.
