My Love At First Scent series on YouTube has now reached the 100 episode mark, and I’m delighted to announce that the ‘milestone instalment’ featured a live interview with Renaud Salmon, the new Creative Experience Officer at Amouage. Speaking from the brand’s factory in Muscat, Salmon talked about his journey through the perfume industry, his plans for Amouage (he revealed that Overture Woman, composed by Annick Menardo, will be the next release) and the reasons why his ‘debut’ scent wasn’t a new concept, but a flanker (Interlude Black Iris Man). You can watch the video by clicking on this link: Renaud Salmon Amouage interview 2020.
Heartfelt thanks to all of you for helping me make it to episode 100! I don’t quite know where the time has gone since I broadcast the first episode, but I know that I’ve enjoyed spending it with you. Your support, encouragement and generosity are appreciated more than you realise.

Wow! What an amazing interview. Your questions were insightful. You elicited and Renaud provided substantive answers. Well done both of you. Makes me excited for future Amouage fragrances and your reviews.
You’re too kind, Kathryn — thank you. And yes, I’m very curious to see what the future will bring.
